BREAKING NEWS: Councillor to demand withdrawal of plans

LibDen councillor and prospective Member of Parliament, Peter Tyzack, is planning to put a motion to South Glos full Council next month to call for the Oldbury plans to be withdrawn, in favour of significant increase in investment in renewables, research and property insulation.

He commented, "That obscene sum of money they propose to spend on Nuclear would go a long, long way to putting things right so that the scale of power generation they talk of becomes unnecessary."
